Temuan ceremonial (sawai) song about an aromatic but sour wild mango (macang) and why it embodies the spirit of Sulong (youngest son of Mamak and Inak Bongsu, progenitors of the human race). One day Sulong came upon a mango tree. It was raining ripe fruits. Sulong picked up a mango and found wormholes in it. He picked another and the worms had beaten him to it. Every mango he could reach was riddled with worms. In frustration, Sulong wished he was on the topmost branches of the tree where grew the freshest fruit (at least they would be worm-free). Suddenly he found himself transformed into a macang flower: his strong desire became its sensuous perfume; his disappointment, its acid taste;
